Grace Budgett

Grace joined Whipsaw as an industrial designer in 2021. She’s driven to design for the people who need good Design the most. Grace uncovers the meaning behind Design by creating innovative products in niche markets—from ergonomically-sound tools for women, to medical products that make patients’ lives more comfortable.

Originally an artist and Environmental Science major at the University of Washington in Seattle, Grace shifted gears and graduated with a BA in Industrial Design. She has won multiple awards, including the 2019 Western District IDSA Student Merit Award.

Grace previously explored a wide variety of roles as a freelancer while traveling the world, from being the sole industrial designer at the largest cannabis company in the world, to helping a professional grade speaker startup launch their product line.

In her spare time, Grace can be found reading, traveling, and discovering patches of sunlight to lie in.
