Shawn Wang

Shawn joined Whipsaw’s industrial design team with a passion to explore various fields of design and enthusiastically take risks and challenges. His life, academic, and professional experience in both Taiwan and the United States have given him a more diverse perspective on life and design. His worldview is influential in his designs and is continuously evolving from every new experience prompting him to reflect on his design skills and strategy.

Prior to joining Whipsaw, Shawn worked with small-scale design consultancies, office goods, and cookware companies as an industrial designer. He then worked with the Garmin consumer product team and participated in fitness, marine, outdoor, and wearable-related electric consumer product design. 

Outside of work, Shawn enjoys running, attending exhibitions, watching movies, and sitting in a coffee shop people watching.
