Cisco TelePresence 500

Cisco’s new TelePresence 500 offers the ability for geographically separated businesses to connect via high-quality audio and video streams for “telepresence” meetings. The primary benefit is the ability to conduct a face-to-face meeting without the expense or environmental impact of travel. Designed for an executive office or cubicle, this unit is smaller and less expensive than prior systems. The display can be used as a computer monitor but when a call is placed the camera lowers down to create good eye contact. Side lights emanate a very even and pleasing light.
