The IonQ Quantum Computer

The IonQ Quantum Computer uses quantum mechanics and "qubits" for calculations, significantly outpacing classical computers, with computational power increased by one quintillion. Paired with AI, it addresses complex global challenges like climate change, disease research, drug interaction simulation, and theoretical physics.IonQ is the first practical quantum computer, designed to fit in a data center. Instead of creating one big cumbersome machine like other companies have tried, the IonQ design is flexible and modular. Its main QPU and flanking peripheral units scale to customer needs.
