Predix is an enterprise server that specializes in predicting machine behavior. It crunches live data sent from machines like jet engines, steam turbines and entire energy plants to predict their operational future, including breakdowns. At the forefront of computing, this kind of predictive analysis gives companies unprecedented insight, control and efficiency. Our design solution gives a unique identity to this new field while also maintaining the heritage of the GE mother brand. The distinctive interwoven pattern and lighting convey precision, organization, and high data throughput. This pattern also allows free air movement through the door and the individual servers inside. A large steel handle doubles as the Predix branding plate. Introduced with high critical acclaim at the Minds and Machines conference, Nov 2016.
